Who We Are

We are Gloucester Community Church – a relaxed but intentional church community in the heart of Gloucester.

Our Values

Wholeheartedly
Welcoming

“There’s always space for one more.”

Joyfully
Generous

“Too good to keep to ourselves.”

Living
Authentically

“Shared homes, shared hurts, shared hopes.”

Growing
Together

“Giving our best, for one another.”

Our Feel

Just like biological families, our church family is made up of people of different ages and stages of life. We want our times together to both represent that diversity and be accessible to all. We believe our diversity both reflects God’s character and heart and helps us understand it better, encouraging us to continually choose unity in Jesus.

Take a look at what we have going on for Adults and Kids & Youth.

Our Team

Who we are as a church family is shaped by how each of us lives and leads in our different areas of influence. At GCC we believe we are all followers, and at the same time all leaders! Some decisions, however, need to be made by smaller groups, benefitting from people’s unique gifts, experiences and skills, and so at GCC we have:

Our Connections

As part of God’s family we’re always part of something much bigger than ourselves. As a church we’re linked to Salt and Light Advance Sphere and work with other churches in Gloucester on different activities that serve our city, including the Gloucester Christians Against Poverty centre. GCC also benefits from partnering with individuals elsewhere in the world, and is a member of the Evangelical Alliance.

Safeguarding

At GCC we take very seriously our responsibility to keep children and vulnerable adults safe. The church has a detailed Safeguarding Policy and all those involved in working with children have been DBS checked and most have attended training provided by Thirty One:Eight.

GCC’s designated Safeguarding Officer is Mark Finney.

Accessibility

Gloucester Community Church wants to be a place that is wholeheartedly welcoming to all, whatever our stage of life, health condition or impairment. Find out more about accessibility considerations at our building and different activities by clicking on the button below.
